The Pitfall of Net Neutrality

Net neutrality is a recent claim about to accentuate or to underplay information on the web. Proponents are against the discrimination but there's still on discussion. Frankly, I am an opponent of net neutrality as for masquerading businesses dealing with insecure stuffs.

Net neutrality seems to be similar to the invisible hand of the market in some extent. It supposes that market determines everything. How was the result of the hand? Rat race. Similarly, net neutrality assumes that people determines every information when service provider opens all the kinds of information equally. Now we can infer the result: massive information without any guarantee. That is, because every decision is made by the receivers, there can be an attack by rumor which tarnishes public image and hurts somebody (or any other kind of attack can be established). Or there could be a phony snippets. People would be insecure in the law of net neutrality.

The movement of no-discrimination should take the value of information into account. Each information has its own value and internet service providers need to select the list of information ordered by the value. I think it is the right solution upon net neutrality. There needs the interference of the government in the open web.
