Microsoft Bing? Google seems no defending matter
Microsoft released Bing, search engine substitution for Live Search, BETA version last week. Click here to visit the site.
It seems to be counterattack against Google as Chrome beat up the name of IE, of course it's not a sense to discuss whether one would effect to the other war because each collision has its own place to occur. Anyway, as a prevalent technology, search engines spread out from there to there. Amazing is that a glamour enterprise tries to launch new one so as to make a fight with another big enemy. Actually Bing has lots of weaknesses. Most of all, I felt that algorithm for ordering from search results does not act properly. I couldn't find what I want till the page turns to the next in some keywords.
Would Google do counteract against it? Well, if I were in that location, I would not care, though, because Bing has no differentiational point and does not stack enough data yet. (Bing is faster? No. Bing is smarter? Maybe no. It's just a rookie and attracts only one who want to experience something new) A little possibility is that internet is world wide and the expanding speed becomes so fast that new one may get its reputation easier. And we cannot ignore the power of the long-tail.
Anyway I'll enjoy competition of two giants.
