Why do people believe in God?
Most people would ponder upon whether God really exists. And a mysterious thing is that some people believe in God. Why do they seriously take their faith and devote their whole life to such an imaginational and delusional matter? I want to talk about this issue today and to confess that I'm a Christian before the script.
Have you ever considered the natural phenomenon? In fact, artificial thing is one of the most natural stuffs as the fact we act like a human is natural. Finally, everything goes in natural way with no exceptions. If a third party sees the world - as if looking at the animal in zoo - it seems that we do all natural behaviors.
In the air, there's an interest thing inside: Fear. We can say that every religion and faith come from it. Unpredictable future makes people desire an existence of insight. Spiritual world appears from this trend. They begin to believe in imperceptible something which influences their life. An amazing fact is here. Most animals also have the emotion of fear but they don't seek for God. Have you seen or heard of worship of ants? or prayer of monkeys? Never. Thirst for soul, the only property of human.
In the nature, nothing but human is willing to find the truth and to experience it. But can we say that human is more intelligent than other animals? I think that intellects would prefer presuming the future and being ready for it to seek for God or spiritual imagination.
Indulgement of spirit is an ancient argument. The point is that it's the most natural instinct to chase the trace of God. Nobody is free from inner scarsity and fear in self although we try to prepare for the future. Eventually we are a part of the universe and cannot be against the nature.
Nowadays, people find other people when they go off hardship. Or pets, foods, games, etc. They find something to lean on in their difficult time. The reason why modern people rarely seek for God is that prosperity satisfies their appetite and it substitutes to God. However, that is against nature. Think if there's nothing to depend on like friends, mentors, foods, and even safety. The only to believe is yourself. In that moment, most people conclude in two ways: praying for God, or discarding their life. (I respect someone who does the best to live in the situation but it doesn't take much time for them to be exhausted)
Again, it's natural indeed for man to seek for God. I note that threat has come into religion and faith as the science gets arise in modern times. It becomes a virtue to conceal the natural instincts like sexual issue recently. But do think whether we really don't do them. Yes, we do! This is the age we live in. Freely call for God. No obstacles, no interference. You need to re-arrange the relation with God.
